Company has been in business since 1982 providing fresh produce and other products to restaurants and other end users. Due to continued growth, we are accepting applications for Warehouse Utility Picker and Forklift Operator to work out of our Whitestown, IN warehouse.
Compensation
- Average annual salary $40,000-$50,000 per year which includes:
- Hourly pay $15.00-$17.00 per hour,
- Typically work 40-50 hours per week
- Overtime paid after 40 hrs per week
- Weekly paychecks

Work Schedule
- 5 or 6 day work weeks depending on business needs
- Monday-Saturday; Saturday is full, mandatory work day, off every Sunday and one other day during the week
- Start time 5am, work until work is completed
- Typically 8-12 hours per day
- Must be available to work 5am-5pm, as needed
Responsibilities
- Operate electric forklift and pallet jack equipment
- Pick orders, cube/stack, and shrink wrap pallets, load/unload pallets
- Pick 130-140 cases per hour; 800-1000 cases per day
- General warehouse duties: loading, unloading, sorting and moving products and materials manually and using material handling equipment
- Be able to lift, push, pull 65 pounds with no assistance
- Fill and complete order receipts, assemble orders into shipping containers
- Transport filled orders to and from shipping area
- Stock shelves, keep stock clean and in sequence
- Mark containers with identifying information
- Perform general cleaning duties
Requirements
- Electric forklift and rider pallet jack operation experience required
- Picking/order selecting experience using RF scanner and other general warehouse duties, preferably fresh produce/food and/or freezer product
- Experience working in refrigerated environment
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
- Able to pass pre-hire drug screen and physical
- Able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses
- Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors
