Nationwide trucking company is hiring local CDL A drivers in Chehalis, WA to service one of its nationwide grocery accounts. Become a dedicated driver and start enjoying consistent freight and job security making deliveries for a single customer.
Compensation
- Average annual salary $85,000 – $105,000 per year, which includes:
- Route pay $315/day plus $60-$75/week for paid breaks.
- Unlimited work available; top producers making up to $105,000/year.
- Typical work week is 50-60 hours per week.
- Paid orientation and training.
- Weekly paychecks.

Work Schedule
- Monday – Friday; additional work available on 6th day for extra pay at drivers’ discretion.
- Typical start time 4:30pm, work until work is completed.
- Home daily, no overnights.
- Local routes, average 14 stops per day.
- No touch freight! Drop & hook or dock deliveries, customer unload.
- Drop & Hook with doubles 25% of the time. Remaining stops are live unloads, no touch.
- Work schedule may change based on business needs; must be flexible with work schedule and/or customer locations.
- Truck must be parked at Chehalis, WA location.
Responsibilities
- Must obtain doubles endorsement within 30 days of hire. Costs reimbursed by Company.
- TWIC is not required but strongly encouraged. Cost reimbursed by Company if obtained (TWIC card offers drivers more opportunities in the Company).
- Chaining experience highly preferred. Chaining required in inclement weather.
- Drive CDL trucks to transport products to specific route destinations
- Provide excellent customer service
- Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle
- Reporting maintenance/repair issues on tractors and trailers
Requirements
- Must have 3 months of verifiable CDL A tractor-trailer experience.
- Drive automatic day cab with 53′ semi-trailer or 28′ pup trailer.
- Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug screen and physical
- Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver´s License, with air brakes endorsement.
- Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses
- Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English
- Be able to lift, push, pull 65 pounds with no assistance
