Company, has been a family-owned business since 1976 providing ice cream and other products to local grocery stores and other end users. Due to continued growth we are currently accepting applications for a Local CDL B Route Delivery Driver to work in our Ashwaubenon, WI facility.

Work Schedule

• Monday – Friday, some weekends as needed
• Start times will vary, typically between 5am-7:30am, work until work is completed
• Potential layover, once per month if selected to cover Wausau route, paid per diem
  
• Route delivery 100-mile radius, make 15-30 stops per day; out of the truck at each stop.
• Touch freight delivery and merchandising; using 2-wheel hand-cart/ dolly and lift gate to unload trucks
• Merchandising activities: stocking freezers, rotating product, and facing products
• Work schedule may change based on business needs; must be flexible with work schedule

Responsibilities

• Full-time, permanent position
• Provide coverage for Route Sales Representatives and Route Drivers when on vacation
• Drive CDL trucks to transport products to specific route destinations
• Deliver, merchandise, and sell products to accounts
• Touch freight, using 2-wheel hand-cart, dolly and lift gate to unload trucks
• Provide excellent customer service
• Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle
• Reporting maintenance/repair issues on tractors and trailers

Requirements

• Must have 1 year of verifiable CDL B experience
• Must be flexible with work schedule; days and times. Weekends and Holidays included. Overtime work as requested
• Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug screen and physical
• Hold a valid Class B Commercial Driver´s License, with air brakes endorsement
• Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses
• Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English
• Be able to lift, push, pull 65 pounds with no assistance
• Use of hand-cart/2-wheel dolly and lift gate
