Due to continued growth we are currently accepting applications for Driver Helper Roof Loader within 30 miles of our Charleston, SC facility.
Compensation
- Hourly pay $19.00-$21.00 per hour, based on experience
- Bonus program that can equate to an additional $1.50-$3.00 per hour (based on number of bundles delivered)
- Overtime paid after 40 hours per week
- Typical work week is 40-45 hours per week, can be more during busy seasons.

Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- Typically work 6am/7am- 3pm/4pm; work until work is completed.
- Home every day, no overnights.
- Some warehouse work and/or loading and unloading using forklifts
- Must be flexible with work schedule. Routing can change frequently throughout day.
Responsibilities
- Safely unload building products and multiple bundles of shingles from conveyor boom from first or second story rooftop
- In certain instances where rooftop delivery is not feasible, the roof loader will provide support to the driver by assisting with ground drop operations at the designated job site
- Some warehouse duties loading and/or unloading trucks using forklifts, as needed.
- Some loose box hand delivery of products/accessories
- Verify order contents prior to loading them onto the delivery truck
- Assist with delivery operations
- Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must have transportation to commute to branch location.
- Experience in a physically demanding position, preferably working outdoors.
- General warehouse duties a plus; forklift experience preferable but not required.
- Bi-lingual Spanish a plus but not required.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.
- Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses/
- Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors.
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S..
- Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
- Be able to lift, push, pull 75 pounds with no assistance.
