Company has been in business since 1973 growing, sourcing, packaging and delivering the highest quality fresh fruits and veggies to grocery stores. Due to continued growth we are currently accepting applications for Truck Driver CDL A Dock Delivery in Friesland, WI.

Compensation

  • Average Annual Salary $65,000-$80,000 per year, which includes:
    • Pay is $ 0.56- $0.68 cents per mile based on experience
    • Hourly unloading rate is $21.81-$26.00 per hour, if required
    • Typical work week is 55-60 hours per week
    • Bi-weekly paychecks

Work Schedule

  • Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday; 5 day work week
  • Start times vary, Typically based on candidate availability.
  • OTR, home every week; routes include the following states: IL, MN, IN, KS, ND, PA, NY, OH, FL.
  • Make 1-3 stops per day; out of the truck at some stops.
  • Most deliveries are no touch but some location are touch freight, using pallet jack or forklift.
  • When returning to Friesland, will be reload with broker load of produce.
  • Must be flexible with work schedule

Responsibilities

  • Backing in and out of docks
  • Drive CDL trucks to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinations
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle
  • Reporting maintenance/repair issues on tractors and trailers

Requirements

  • Must be flexible with work schedule; days and times. Weekends and Holidays included.
  • Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug and criminal background screen
  • Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver´s License, with air brakes endorsement and have 1 year of experience.
  • Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses
  • Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors
  • Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Must pass pre-hire drug screen and physical
  • Be able to lift, push, pull 65 pounds with no assistance
