Compensation

Average Annual Salary $90,000-$100,000 per year, which includes:

• Activity-based pay (mileage, stops, layover, detention, etc.).
  
• $5,000 sign on bonus; $2,500 paid @ 3 months, $2,500 paid @ 12 months.
• Average 2,000-3,000 miles per week.
• Bi-Weekly paychecks.

• Eligibility begins after 30 days.

Work Schedule

• Sunday-Thursday (home early Friday morning), home every weekend.
  
• Start times vary, typically between 3am- 5am.
• Driver assist, unload using pallet jack and/or 2-wheel hand cart.
• Approximately 6-10 stops per day.
• Coverage area is mainly east of the Mississippi River: Chicago, New Jersey, New York (no NYC).
• Routes vary and can change without notice. Must be flexible with work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Backing in and out of docks.
• Drive CDL trucks to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinations.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle.
• Reporting maintenance/repair issues on tractors and trailers.

Requirements

• Must be a minimum of 23 years of age.
• Minimum of 2 years of OTR and/or Regional CDL A tractor-trailer experience preferred.
• Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug and criminal background screen.
• Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver´s License, with air brakes endorsement.
• No restrictions; must be able to drive sleeper and dry van; manual or automatic.
• Driver assist, unload using pallet jack and/or 2-wheel hand cart.
• Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses.
• Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must pass pre-hire drug screen and physical.
• Be able to lift, push, pull 65 pounds with no assistance.
