Company has been a family-owned business since 1976 providing ice cream and other products to local grocery stores and other end users. Due to continued growth we are currently accepting applications for a Local Truck Driver CDL B Route Delivery to work in our facility within 30 miles Fridley, MN.

Compensation

  • Hourly pay $23.00-$25.00/hour
  • Overtime paid after 40 hours per week
  • Typical work week is 45-50 hours per week
  • Bi-weekly paychecks

Work Schedule

  • Monday-Friday, some weekends as needed
  • Start times vary, typically between 5:00am-7:30am, work until work is completed
  • Touch freight delivery; driver unload using 2-wheel hand-cart and lift-gate.
  • Merchandising activities: stocking freezers, rotating product, and facing product.
  • 401K with company match
  • Work scheduled may change based on business needs; must be flexible with work schedule.
  • Some vacation coverage for route drivers, some overnights may be needed.

Responsibilities

  • Drive CDL trucks to transport products to specific route destinations
  • Deliver, merchandise, and sell products to accounts
  • Touch freight, using 2-wheel hand-cart, dolly and lift gate to load and unload trucks
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle
  • Reporting maintenance/repair issues on straight truck

Requirements

  • Must have 1 year of verifiable CDL B experience.
  • Foodservice route delivery experience required.
  • Hold a valid Class B Commercial Driver´s License, with air brakes endorsement.
  • Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug screen and physical.
  • Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses.
  • Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors.
  • Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
  • Be able to lift, push, pull 65 pounds with no assistance.
