Due to growth we are looking for a Local Truck Driver CDL A Route Delivery $2K Bonus! in our Lansing, IL location.

Compensation

• Approximate annual salary $60,000-$80,000 per year which includes:
  • Hourly wage of $25.00 per hour
  • Overtime paid after 40 hours per week
  • Typical work week is 40-50 hours per week
  • $2,000 sign on bonus; Paid out $500 a month for 4 months
  • Weekly paychecks

Work Schedule

• 5-day work week; typically Monday-Friday but may include some weekends
  
• Early am and late pm start times typical; varies by routes
• Home daily, no layovers
• Option to unload for additional income or hire lumping service at company’s expense
• Must be flexible with work schedule

Responsibilities

• Backing in and out of docks
• Drive CDL trucks to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinations
• Some loading/unloading assist may be possible
• Provide excellent customer service
• Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle
• Reporting maintenance/repair issues on tractors and trailers
• Excellent customer service skills: communication with customers and being the “face of the company”

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of local, multiple-stop delivery experience in CDL A tractor-trailer
• Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug and criminal background screen
• Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver´s License, with air brakes endorsement.
• Reefer experience preferred but not required
• Experience delivering to foodservice warehouses preferred but not required
• Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses
• Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must pass pre-hire drug screen and physical
• Be able to lift, push, pull 65 pounds with no assistance
