Company has over 60 years of experience as the nation’s largest manufacturer of metal roofing, wall and building systems. Due to continued growth, we are accepting applications for Local Truck Driver CDL B Route Delivery in Fontana, CA.

Compensation

  • Average annual salary of $32,000-$52,000 per year, which includes:
    • Hourly pay $22.00-$25.00/hour
    • Overtime paid after 40 hours per week
    • Typical work week is 45-50 hours per week
    • Bi-weekly paychecks

Work Schedule

  • Monday – Friday, some weekends as needed
  • Start times will vary, typically between 4am-4:30am, work until work is completed
  • Make 2-13 stops per day; out of the truck at each stop.
  • Flatbed S/T tandem axel, re-strap and/or re-chain at each stop.
  • Work schedule may change based on business needs; must be flexible with work schedule

Responsibilities

  • Delivering and unloading steel building supplies to residential and commercial job sites
  • Drive CDL trucks to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinations
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle
  • Reporting maintenance/repair issues on trucks and/or equipment
  • Flatbed straight-truck tandem axel

Requirements

  • Must have 3 years of verifiable CDL B experience
  • Hold a valid Class B or Class A Commercial Driver´s License, with air brakes endorsement.
  • Experience with route deliveries, preferably flatbed, but will train if no experience.
  • Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug screen and physical
  • Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses
  • Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors
  • Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English
  • Be able to lift, push, pull 65 pounds with no assistance
