Company has been in business for over 60 years providing fresh, organic, cage-free eggs to local grocery stores and other end users. Due to continued growth, we are currently accepting applications for a Production Maintenance Mechanic to work in our processing maintenance facility in Stanwood, WA.

Compensation

  • Pay is $24.00-$27.00 per hour, based on experience
  • Overtime paid after 40 hours per week
  • Typical work week is 40-55 hours per week
  • Bi-weekly paychecks

Work Schedule

  • Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday
  • Start times vary typically between 5:00am-6:00am, work until work is completed, typically 8-12 hours per day.
  • Work schedule may change based on business needs; must be flexible with work schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Complete machine start-up procedures and ensure all production equipment is operational and ready for the start of the shift
  • Troubleshoot motor controls, drives, and PLC systems
  • Perform and manage preventative maintenance on production equipment
  • Set-up, calibration, installation of new production equipment
  • Order parts, inventory maintenance of parts needed for maintenance/repairs
  • Concise record-keeping of calibration, repairs, maintenance, etc.
  • Maintaining and repairing motors, drives, PLC systems, foodservice production equipment: baggers, washers, slicers, etc.
Requirements
  • All experience levels welcome to apply!
  • Mechanical aptitude and general knowledge of maintenance work is required.
  • Experience in building maintenance, production maintenance, and/or equipment maintenance preferred but not required.
  • Food production facility experience is a plus but not required.
  • High School Diploma or GED (Preferred).
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) preferred.
  • Ability to speak, read, and understand English; bi-lingual Spanish a plus.
  • Must be able to lift 70 pounds (mainly, tires).
