Compensation – Average annual salary $65,000-$75,000 per year, which includes:

  • Hourly plus mileage pay; approximately $26.66 per hour.
  • Safety bonus paid per mile when eligible.
  • Typical work week is 50-60 hours per week.
  • Paid orientation and training.
  • Weekly paychecks.

Work Schedule

  • Monday-Friday
  • Typically start between 3:00am-5:00am, work until work is completed. Usually 10-14 hours per day.
  • Home daily, no overnights.
  • Local routes, average 1-5 stops per day.
  • Work schedule may change based on business needs; must be flexible with work schedule and/or customer locations.

Responsibilities

  • Drive automatic day cab with 53′ semi-trailer
  • Drive CDL trucks to transport products to specific route destinations
  • Not touch. Drop & Hook with doubles 25% of the time. Remaining stops are live unloads, no touch.
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle
  • Reporting maintenance/repair issues on tractors and trailers

Requirements

  • Minimum of 23 years of age.
  • Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver´s License, with air brakes endorsement.
  • Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug screen and physical
  • Must have minimum of 12 months of verifiable CDL A tractor-trailer experience.
  • Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses
  • Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors
  • Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English
  • Be able to lift, push, pull 65 pounds with no assistance
