Compensation – Average Annual Salary $55,000-$65,000 which includes:

Compensation – Average Annual Salary $55,000-$65,000 which includes:
- Hourly wage of $21.00-$23.00 per hour, based on experience.
- Typical work week is 40-45- hours per week.
- Weekly paychecks.

- Work Schedule 8:00am-5:00pm, work until work is completed.
- On-call after-hours (2-4 calls per week, most work done during business hours).
- Must be flexible with work schedule depending on business demands.
- Must be able to quickly navigate dispatching enterprise systems.
- Must be able to communicate effectively via email, in person and on the telephone.
- Daily work with internal and external customers, drivers, managements, etc.
- Understand what drivers an effective safety culture and actively participates in the Company’s mission to make decisions that positively impact the safety. of our drivers.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to listen for needs, check for understanding and accuracy, and build relationships with other employees.
- Experience dispatching/managing local, regional, and over-the-road drivers.
- Efficient with computer-based dispatch programs, outlook email and excel spreadsheets.
- Dispatchers ensure that our routes are accurately and completely shipped via cross-checking paperwork.
- Accurately dispatch Drivers from the distribution facility with the equipment they need to service the customer.
- Dispatcher is the primary point of contact for our Drivers while drivers are out on routes.
- Use of dimensional thinking skills; able to multi-task and problem-solve as an integrated member of the Shipping Office; ability to trouble-shoot problems on the fly and effectively manage tasks in a fast pace work environment.
- Troubleshoot customer service and equipment/truck-related issues.
- Handling and understanding billing/shipping paperwork requirements.
- Minimum of 1 year Dispatching CDL Drivers required, 2-5 years of experience preferred.
- Must be able to demonstrate experience with a fast-paced dispatch/transportation distribution environment.
- High degree of comfort with technology including Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, etc.).
- Understand FMCSA and DOT laws/requirements including hours of service.
- Legally able to work in the US.
- Candidate must pass a pre-hire drug screen.
- Able to speak and write fluently in English.
